Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, It is with sadness that I share with you that our dear brother Ernest “Ernie” Rusconi died on December 21, 2019. Ernie is a well loved and supportive member of our church, having served the church in a variety of roles.  He is also well loved and respected in our community for his many years of civil and community service. A Service of Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 am at the Morgan Hill United Methodist Church.  Please hold his children and family in your prayers. Our “Candles and Carols” Christmas Eve service will be at 5pm, to make it family-friendly. Music and readings will focus on the child’s sense of awe.  Children are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to bring to the manger (and they may sit by their stuffy if they like). Join us Sunday afternoon, November 24, 2019, at 3pm, for an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service.  It will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Morgan Hill, 1790 E. Dunne Ave. All are invited to join us for this child and family-friendly service. Potluck reception to follow.
