The time is drawing near, it is almost October 28, 2018! Please mark your calendars because that is the BIG DAY, our 125th Anniversary Celebration. We will begin exactly at 10am at the front of the church with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony officiated by the Chamber of Commerce. We will move into the Sanctuary to continue with our District Superintendent, Shinya Goto, who will be rededicating Morgan Hill United Methodist Church for our next 125 years. On the evening of Wednesday, October 31, our Morgan Hill downtown becomes transformed into a huge community trick-or-treat party for the children. Joining in the fun, we dress in costume and hand out goodies to the kids from in front of Wesley Cottage. We need candy donations (for lots of kids!) and volunteers to help hand out the candy. Downtown Safe Trick or Treat runs 5-7pm. Note that Monterey Road will be closed between Dunne Ave. and Main Ave. for this event. MHUMC hosts Quilt Show during Taste of Morgan Hill Our Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary will be the showcase for the South Valley Quilt Association’s Harvest Quilt & Fiber Arts Show, at the Taste of Morgan Hill. In addition, Quilts of Valor will be shown in our courtyard and front yard. Be sure to stop by and see the beautiful artwork!
