Food, fellowship, and fun! What a delicious, friendly way to raise funds for our church’s share of supporting the worldwide ministry of The United Methodist Church! Plan to attend, and invite family and friends to be part of this summer’s Progressive Dinner on Saturday, August 24.
A “progressive dinner” is a group activity, where each course of a meal is served at a different location. The dinner will begin with appetizers at 2pm, and end with dessert at 6:30pm. In addition to food and beverages, there will be a raffle at each stop. At the last stop (dessert) there will be a silent auction for some amazing items – including a Hawaiian vacation!
Our courses, and hosts, are:
- Appetizers, home of Geoff & Debbie Ullman
- Salad, home of Darcy & Chuck Foster
- Main course, at the Parsonage
- Dessert, home of Carol & Bill Frazer
Tickets for the dinner are $20 per person, and are available from the church office. Watch for the weekly Announcements email for details!
Donations needed: If you can donate items, services, or special activities for the raffle and/or silent auction, please contact Darcy Foster. Ideas include baked goods, quilts, gift baskets, golf lessons, wine tastings, family trip to a lakeside cabin, afternoon tea for six in a garden, personal yoga sessions, personal trainer, ballroom dancing lessons, group paintball outing, artwork, …
