Connect, Support, Celebrate

Rally Day

Rally Day, Sept. 10
We begin our new Sunday School year with Rally Day. We will recognize our last year's Sunday School teachers, and dedicate our new teachers.
After the service we will have a bounce house and sno-cones for the kids, and a potluck lunch for all.

Taste of Morgan Hill

Taste of Morgan Hill, Sept. 24 and 25
Quilt Show - Our Fellowship Hall and newly refreshed Sanctuary will be the setting for the South Valley Quilt Association's Harvest Quilt & Fiber Arts Show. Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, 10am-4pm.
Heavenly Tamales, Holy Guacamole & Chips - As part of our "Sanctuary to Street" initiative, we will have a food booth as a way to connect with the community. It also is a fundraiser to support achieving a balanced budget. See us at Monterey and 4th Street, Saturday and Sunday.
Special worship service and time - We will hold our worship service at 8:30am. It will be a simple service, ending at approximately 9am, so that the sanctuary may be set up for the quilt show.

Living the Good News

Adult Sunday Class
Adults now have an opportunity for a study that follows the Sunday Bible readings. This is similar to what we offer our children, but at a grown-up level. The program, "Living the Good News," is led by Kristen Johnson, on Sunday mornings, 8:30am-9:30pm, in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Kristen if you are interested in participating, so she may prepare accordingly.

Sharing the Bounty Sharing the Bounty
Each Wednesday evening, 6-7pm, we offer a hot dinner in our Fellowship Hall. Dinner is open to whomever needs it, no questions asked. Food is prepared by Martha's Kitchen, but servers and other helpers are needed for the meals. Contact Jeff Rangel or Denise Melroy if you wish to help.
