John Nilsen

John Nilsen in Concert, Nov. 11
We welcome award-winning pianist John Nilsen in concert on Saturday, November 11, at 7pm, in our sanctuary. John is one of the Pacific Northwest's most successful performance and recording artists. See more about him at magicwing.com. A free-will offering will go toward our church renovation fund.
Attendees have the option of a special pre-concert wine and light dinner at Bubbles Wine Bar & Bistro, from 5pm to 6:30pm. Tickets are $40 each, with part of the proceeds going to our church. Watch the weekly Announcements emails for how to purchase tickets.

Meals at the Armory

Hot Meals at Gilroy Emergency Shelter, Oct. through April
Our local cold-weather homeless shelter at the Gilroy Armory is open through March. We provide dinner on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, plus the 5th (if there is one). The adult team and youth team take turns coordinating and serving the meal. See "Dinner at the Armory" for more info.

While We Wait: Advent Study

Advent Study begins Nov. 30
This year's Advent Study, "While We Wait: Living the Questions of Advent," offers new ways to connect the Advent story with our own questions of faith. The study group will meet on Thursdays beginning November 30, at 12:30pm, in the Fellowship Hall "comfy blue chairs." Please purchase your copy of the study book in advance, and read Chapter 1 to prepare for the first session. Contact study coordinator Trish Catalano for more information.

Living the Good News

Adult Sunday Class
Adults now have an opportunity for a study that follows the Sunday Bible readings. This is similar to what we offer our children, but at a grown-up level. The program, "Living the Good News," is led by Kristen Johnson, on Sunday mornings, 8:30am-9:30pm, in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Kristen if you are interested in participating, so she may prepare accordingly.

Sharing the Bounty Sharing the Bounty
Each Wednesday evening, 6-7pm, we offer a hot dinner in our Fellowship Hall. Dinner is open to whomever needs it, no questions asked. Food is prepared by Martha's Kitchen, but servers and other helpers are needed for the meals. Contact Jeff Rangel or Denise Melroy if you wish to help.
