Morgan Hill United Methodist Church

The Church Education Program

We provide year 'round religious education for children and adults of all ages.

Childrens' Education Opportunities

Childrens' classes meet during Sunday morning worship.

Traditional Church School meets during the 10am service, after the children have participated in the opening activities of the service. The classes typically follow the same general themes and stories as the scriptures for worship. Each class is led by a team of teachers and supported with volunteers from the whole church.

Church School coordinator is Sue Edgar.

Adult Education Opportunities

Adults have opportunities to participate in special courses taught throughout the year. These include midweek Bible studies, membership classes, and other adult classes.

Current classes:
Pastor's Class for Armchair Theologians meets Tuesday evenings, 7:30pm-9pm. Join this open-ended group opportunity to share and discuss how theology affects our lives. Gather with friends to exchange, share, and test our experiences and opinions along our faith journey together.
Sunday Morning Adult Study meets in the Fireplace Room in the Annex at 9am Sunday mornings. The discussion is centered on topics introduced in the book being read by the group. Contact John Braslin, discussion leader, for more information.
Book Club is currently on hiatus, and will regroup soon. We will be reading a wide assortment of novels with a spiritual thread. Contact Megan Richardson for more info. Once a month, on a Thursday evening, we'll meet to discuss the book.
